Road CR-501 new route in the stretch afected by MONTORO'S dam screed (Ciudad Real)

 

Montoro´s reservoir increase makes it necessary to build a new road in CR- 501, which links Puertollano to Mestanza and Solana del Pino.

 

 

  • The new road runs between Montoro river´s left slope along 5,180 mtrs.

 

 

 

  • 45% of the curves have 200 mtrs radius high.
  • The determinant for the route´s adaptation was to respect the environment.
  • A chromatic integration has been carried out in order to get a bigger environment adaptation.
