The main aim of the construction of two turnoffs in Herencia and Campo de Criptana was to avoid the truck traffic, improving both the smooth flow and inhabitants safety

• Both roads are linked by a roundabout.

• The link between the different roads was made by a roundabout.
• It has 2 structures. An underpass for saving the railway line Campo de Criptana Albacete, and an overpass, for giving some continuity to the contiguous roads.
• The turnoffs have parallel petrol stations for satisfying the farmers needs, without affecting the smooth flow.
• The route is 15,2 kms long. For its construction 60.000 tns of Hot Bitumen mixes were used, of which 42.000 tns were an innovative high-module mix.
