Construction and demolition waste raft in ALMADEN (Ciudad Real)

Construction and demolition waste from the RCDs, LER 1.700 code come from demolitions and works materials construction reject in Almaden´s buildings, and they will be pit on the new waste raft after being used.

The tailings dam, which will have a surface area of 4 hectares and 9 mtrs deep, it will store 300.000 m³ of RCDs.
It will have the capacity of separating and maximizing the RCDs.
It will avoid the subsoil´s pollution thanks to the raft water proofing.
It will allow the reuse of materials which previously went to an uncontrolled dump.

We obey the Environmental Regulations:

- Construction and Demolition Waste National Plan(PNRCD).
- RD 1481/2001 which regulates the disposal of waste products.
- 189/2005 Decree, which approves the Castilla La Mancha Construction and Demolition Plan.
- RD 105/2008 regulates the production and treatment of construction and demolition waste.
